Depends what you mean by "bling"... What immediately comes into my mind is chrome 20" rims and ****ty paint. Please don't do that

And for floor matts and similar, you could go to supercheap, but ebay will have more range, most likely be cheaper and you can find genuine stuff like some R or GTI matts.

hi can you tell me more...I did search the carstyle4you website but I'm a bit confused. did you self-install, and how did you program your particular door's frequency. Perhaps there's a better website you can point me to (i was on the german one)

I bought a remote from ebay that suited the brand of opener that I have. Although it doesn't look the same as my originals, it works exactly the same way. The ebay seller also included instructions on how to "teach" the new remote.

The button comes with Piggy-back cable to draw power for the illumination and another cable to solder to the switching point on the remote.

Thanks. I've also never seen another beige/cream interior Golf 6 in person either, so it's nice feeling a little special. Pretty sure beige is an option just like normal black vienna leather (and VW make the trim match). Purchased the wheel and pedals online and retrofitted to add a touch of class/sportiness. To date have also retrofitted RNS510, 9W3 bluetooth, MDI, reverse camera, 9W7 bluetooth. Next on the to-do list is the Audi S3 intercooler.

Any news on the group buy for the VW golf R floor mats guys?

Hi CM - i've just ordered a set of customised floor mats from a Aussie car mat manufacturer. I just bought some floor mats off them to suit my gf's parents new Ford Territory and they are excellent quality, very well made - so i asked them if they could make me some new VW Golf mats with:

- embroidered "R" logo on each mat
- heel pad on drivers mat (plastic/vinyl material that is normally used)
- grey outer edging as per the original mats

Cost is $132 + $10 postage. They said they have made several batches of them over the past few years for dealerships - so i just made sure they had the correct new style "R" logo on file (and not the older .:R from the Mk4 and 5's).

When they turn up, if i'm happy with the quality then ill post up pics and let people know the details of the business.

Just received my custom R floor mats - they look excellent (better than what i was expecting actually). Just took a quick snap on my office floor with my mobile phone so excuse the questionable quality images.

The R logo is a patch that it sewen into the carpet, and i had them oriented this way to match the other R logos on the door scuff plates etc. Im sure they can also sew in a GTI / TSI / R32 logo etc to suit other models. The heel mat on the drivers mat (not to everyones liking im sure) is sewen into the mat and will stop the carpet from wearing out from the heel of your shoes (pet hate of mine). The silver/grey border was the closest colour i could get to match United Grey and looks good. Other border colours are available to match your car (blue / red / white etc etc.)
