Hmm, anyone dealt with ATPG before? Ive made an order for a Milltek CB, but actually just realised they have no contact number and address for the business. I havent actually paid any money yet but would like to know if it's all good to pursue this any further.

Downloaded my bluefin stage 2 map last night......
Now I just have to wait for my downpipe to be fitted next week.

What is the process to go from Stg1 to Stage2? Superchips, although willing to help when I asked for a bit less fuel (as the last dyno day it was running super rich compared to many other stage1s), but gave a disclaimer that they are doing this on my request and that their suggested/default tune with their parameters is best and as such, this is at my own risk.
I wonder if they give similar warnings about stage2s?

You just download/purchase a remap from their site.
You need a downpipe and a CAI (apparently the CAI isnt essential) for the stage 2 remap.

As mentioned above, you just have to purchase the stage 2 file online. When i had my Bluefin unit, they told me to look up the Audi S3 and purchase the Stage 2 file from there - not sure if this is still the case? This was because they hadnt updated the Golf R page to show anything more than Stage 1, whereas the Audi S3 had Stage 1, 2 and 3 available.

I had no warnings about doing it at my own risk etc when i asked for revised Stage 1 tunes from them, nor when i got the Stage 2.

Should be good. The SPM products look really good, and the updated Bluefin S2 tune for the MK6 GTI is supposed to be quite good. Should be a nice boost in power.

You were right about that.
Exhaust is just a tiny bit louder on full throttle and has a bit more of a raspy edge to it.
Feels stronger across the rev range and especially up high, it doesnt run out of puff.
The turbo whistle is a lot more noticeable too.
