You're an evil bastard! I just spent 2 days convincing myself that pump/DP/tune was enough and that was after the past 2mths being convinced that just S1 tune was enough....
Lol...sorry Dave....dont mean to be an evil bastard . My intention initially was only DP only and to leave the rest stock....
Yeah - they've been raving about it on other sites.
I wonder whether there is any benefit on the roads...
... I mean, other than meaning you won't get the door seals creaking when you're driving in or out of a driveway
Just received my Footrest Covers from Originapartsgroup after ordering them Sunday.
Received them via post - bloody fast service from this mob!!!
The pedals look classy and are of high quality and came with everything to fit up. As soon as i get them on i will post some pics this morning...
Very excited!
can you seriously do that? please say you're not just taking the piss... i could look it up but i want it to be true so badly.
are you asking can you put tune on the lease? yes of course you can. Tell your dealer what you are doing, they will organise balance to go to your selected Mechanic.

You know I just read that in the sig and figured it was a strut brace in the engine bay or something but going to that link....jebus christ. Looks bloody impressive, never heard of it before. And nice to know I wasn't the only one that got creaking which I only seem to notice when backing out of my driveway every day!

I didn't really have one but after a call to Volkspower, it seems a bit silly.
Stage 1 APR ECU Upgrade
$1495 &
~40mins (no labour)
FSI High Pressure Fuel Pump
$1,695 outright
$1,230 exchange
~1hr labour @ $100/hr
Downpipe & high flow Catalytic converter, including adapter to stock catback (inc update to Stage 2 tune)
$2495
~2hr's labour @ $100/hr
So that is $5985 with new pump or $5520 with exchange item and no movement on price at all (no haggle no fun!). The bloke I spoke to didn't seem all that interested in even talking to me on the phone (not to mention quoting $700 for a 55k service on a mk5 auto FSI!) so not sure if there is movement in prices and he just didn't want to be on the phone? Surely sales aren't the only time APR stuff isn't full RRP?
The only good part of the phone call was being told he could flash a stage 1 before the weekend...

Hey Dave...just wait till they have their sales.
They have around 3 per year approx, sometimes more.
I would also pop in there and talk to them about doing the lot, and perhaps cutting a deal with them rather than over the phone.

No no no... it's not an engine brace. It's an underbody brace!

There are two APR dealers in Melbourne. Make sure that they understand 1) You are DEFINITELY getting this gear, and 2) You're not a captured audience.
Failing that... wait for the next sale
