Golf R Observations and Questions

Sorry Corey, forgot to mention i've ordered a Black VW badge so just wanting to replace the Chrome part.

You can get black badges? That'd look pretty good on the R with the other black highlights.

i found the golf to be very twitchy, bit of understeer coming into corners and a bit of oversteer coming out. i had plenty of tyre squeal as well.

The Evo's driveline trickery is a step up on the R's abilities IMO so might take a bit of adjusting to a slightly different driving style to get the most out of it.

sorry letting side down SF, we've had 3 nice days since Vader was delivered. was hammered yesterday on the SSC, major flooding, high winds... car photos not high on the 'to do list'... unlike Black badges which are VERY HIGH.

Yep, ordered it from where masev has said.
Unfortunatley it's matt black plastic so depending how it looks on i'll probably get it painted Gloss Black. They don't seem to sell the rear but maybe look on ebay for one.

I found a euro site that has both front and back emblems in stock in matt. that said, I'm going to stay with my original plan, have the badges removed, pro painted in Deep Black to match grill. If truth be told, I'd like the entire car in Matt black, 'murdered'.

Just be wiery though mate that those are for the Mk4 Golf so won't fit, If you do buy some make sure you get one's that fit the Mk6.

would like to get rid of the front badge altogether. to do that I would need to get new front grill and either have current hood filled (don't like that idea) or buy new hood, maybe in Carbon? any suggestions?
