This car has more options than i thought hmmmm is there an owners manual i can read before mine is delivered?

Ask your dealer to kindly lend you a spare (from a demo?). Mine did, and I read it (and the headunit manual) cover to cover before I picked up my car. Highly recommended reading!

thanks for answering my questions.

found the tyre pressure button, had to get down real low
mirror dipping works now too, i must had missed the bit about having the switch to the left, have always kept it on centre (even on my old mk5 golf)

Strange they moved it from the switch assembly by the shifter in our GTI to the glovebox in our R

Took me a while to find it as well

You know about the AirCon setting in the glovebox too I guess

3 buttons on roof

1 can be set to call your service centre (mine is set up)

The others are not functional in AU as far as I know

The * button I believe also answers incoming calls. AFAIWT.

Doesn't for me, I use the buttons on the steering wheel

No. Ray had a mkvi GTI arranged for review, but got cold feet and reviewed a Toyota corolla instead. Paid the GTI owner $5000 for his troubles though
