Golf R Specifications and Prices

Yup, I requested it from Dermot to make sure my order was as I expected it to be, not that I would think for a second that dermot would make a mistake of course

Oh and my build week is week 37, I was pretty much told not to expect the car until probably Feb.

Dermot kindly emailed through my 'Vehicle Tracking Report' yesterday and mine states it will arrive at the dealer on the 24th November.

I'll see if Dermot can also email me a printout of the NADCON Car Configuration.

So I ordered my Golf R DSG, rising blue in June and then a mate tells me he just bought from the showroom floor last week a white manual Golf R. He's driving it right now - I have to wait unitl November at the earliest!!! What the!

Exactly. My dealer has a 3dr united grey with 19's, satnav, leather and maybe some other stuff sitting in the showroom. But it isn't what I want.

Yeah apparently if you want a silver manual golf R - no worries. apparently you can even order it now and it would be in a earlier batch..DSG in rising blue very popular.....

Mine is rising blue dsg leather s/roof 19 in silver .
Checked with my dealer who says that no rising blue have confirmed build dates yet .
Wondering if anyone with rising blue has build date yet .

Your spec sounds almost exactly the same as mine and i've received my build date info. Have you ordered 3 or 5 door?

Its crazy how there is so much differing information floating around from the dealers.

Your car wasn't ordered in november 2009 so what does that have to do with build dates and delivery times?

Last i was told was production week 38, however my Tracking Report states Handover to production on 04th Sept 2010.

Ahh so if I am week 37 I hope mine is due around that time as well. This does make it hard to sell my other car without a firm date though.

What delivery date is specified on your 'contract to purchase'?

One thing i've noticed on my 'Tracking Report' is that it says Order Entry Dealer System/Order Entry NADIN, Order Registration & Buildability Check all on the 12th May which was about a month and a half before i placed my order, anyone know why that would be?
