RSC will take a little while - the development process from Corsa requires a car for couple of weeks with multiple microphones attached - and seeming they are in the US, it could take a few........
Review? Its a down market S3 - drives the same, feels the same, does not have the Audi quality, fit & finish, acoustics, but it will outsell the S3 probably 10 to 1

So if the USA doesn't get the Golf R, does that means there will be no RSC exhaust for the R?
I've done a search for a release date for the R in the USA, and apart from finding several sources saying if it is released it'll be called the GTI-R there, no one has a release date.
If you dont get the MDI does that mean there is no way to plug an iPod into the audio?
MDI refers to USB, just wondering if there is a standard headphone plug style input that most cars have these days.
The subject has probably been addressed before, if so i apologise.
Can you factory order a Golf GTI / R requesting the front number plate holder to be left off ???
I have heard, no you cant. But there are some plugs you can put on the GTI. Apparently it gets a bit ugly trying to do the same on the R, as they are 2 sets of 2 vertically positioned holes.

In the Mk6 Golf R and i suspect the Gti as well the AUX input is in the console center armrest compartment.

I've been in contact with a VGA product manager to find out what can be done about this. He's already responded to say that he's looking into it... I'll obviously update here when I have a response.
