Well, there is no way an R should be significantly more than an equal spec R32... not even anything more... $7000 cheaper base, and all you need to do is add leather, and it's still $3,700 cheaper...

I'd be over the moon to go into a VW dealership in the ACT and actually have someone acknowledge my existence.
Five times in the last month and the best I got was a glare when I went near a GTI at the Woden yard.
Is it the same in Sydney? I think I may go up there to get one after the service you get in Canberra.

There are two dealerships now in canberra and if one of boys has missed you I always like to know.. It has been hard here in canberra with a lot of orders placed last month (very time poor).. With Volkswagen sales in Aus being the highest % in the nation. In the local market Canberra being the number three Brand.. Toyota Holden Volkswagen then the rest. it was just huge for both dealers. Still if you would like some help please feel free to give a call and I will do what ever I can to help you. my Mobile is 0407692465 Coreying has already given address above and to him thank you....Phillip Fairhall

As for the Belco branch, I went in there mid week some time back and was just ignored for the most part despite no other customers there.
I appreciate that I don't deserve or necessitate everyone there to drop everything to bask in my greateness, jsut a bit sour as I've been keen on the R for some time and being unable to get anyone to give me the time of day.
I did notice Phil's posts, but again, I'm not inclined to just go straight to the boss since I'm just like everyone else.
I may try again once I've found the rest of the toys from my pram.

So as I said - it would be nice if when you walked into a dealership, everyone dropped what they were doing and rushed over to you, but realistically, that can't always happen. If you crossed every dealership who someone on this site reported that they hadn't been attended to, there'd literally be no dealerships left to go to

As for being ignored, the record for being ignored the most (from personal experience of course) goes to Renault Hornsby. I have never been served or even acknowledged there in spite of at least 10+ visits over the years.GTI | Carbon | Man | 5 door | Leather | 18" Detroit | Bluetooth | MDI | Bi-Xenon
