The Talladega alloys are available in silver 18", silver 19" and black 19".
I've seen the 18 and 19" silver Talladega in person and I personally think they look better in real life than in the press shots.
I also don't think they'll be that hard to clean. The 'spokes' are not that deep, so any decent wheel brush with soft bristles should clean them well.
I haven't seen the black wheels in person, but I've seen some pictures over at one of the other forums. When they are in direct sunlight they kinda turn "army green", and I don't particularly like that!:

Agreed, they look great. I think they're a good design much like the R32 ones were. GTI wheels on the other hand are all ugly to me but Im in the minority so each to their own!
I'll take my chances on the army green thing, the factory wheel upgrades are good value and easy to sell later if I want to change so not a big deal.
Funny...the website claims a 0-100km time with the manual of 5.9s...yet that dude from the youtube video couldn't get it any faster than 6.3. And he seemed like a decent shifter,
Doesn't the manufacturer usually state a slower than normal time?

haha why would they do that? especially a car where 0-100km/h acceleration and power is so key to customers buying decision.

The guy in the video was too tubby. We all know extra weight makes a car slower

Not sure if your joking, but they do that quite a lot. ref: EVO, STi, WRX... Now GOLF R.
They underate them so that they maintain integrity by delivering the advertised speed everytime.
But the EVO is a great example. It was listed officially as 6.5 sec or something ridiculous for 0-100 and I think 14.5 1/4 mile but did it in more like 5.2 sec and 13.5... Very big differences.
People who read the brochure get told one thing. But people who actually drive them, are in the know or do their research properly know its very different performance.
