Bear in mind all Adidas cars are 2010 build so the prices are adjusted accordingly. Hence the value proposition is somewhat misleading on that basis

Well, yes, but they are complied as 2011 and as such it is registered as a 2011 model (at least mine is anyway), so for resale purposes it is a 2011 model. The few months it spent on a boat, dock, or in a dealership was no issue for me.

Very happy with the Adidas, although it wasn't initially what I was looking for, I'm glad I went for it over a similarly optioned ordinary Golf, at least it's got a bit of exclusivity and stands out a bit. The added extras are very welcome, the LED taillights, LED bi-zenon headlights, nice wheels and a cool (subjective...??) interior, the bluetooth and MDI - all things that one SHOULD option their Golf with anyway.

The only thing the Adidas edition was missing, quite a serious misgiving at that, is lack of a matching tracksuit.

Alright boys and girls. As originally shown at Wörthersee earlier this year, the Golf GTI Adidas is coming to Australia!!!

It'll be in limited numbers, much like the MKV GTI Pirelli.

RRP $45,990 + ORC
5 Door DSG only

In addition to regular GTI features and inclusions you get:
Adidas seats & stitching, gear knob and heated seats
Bi-Xenon
Bluetooth
LED Taillights
Media Device Interface
Serron 18" Alloys

Also much like the MKV GTI Pirelli, the options are also more limited, with only the following options available:
ACC
Park assist + RVC
RNS-510
Sunroof

And finally, the only two colours are Candy White & Tornado Red!

i know this is an old thread.... but does anyone know whos got the white adidas in brisbane with sunroof and park assist i think it had.....

dealer fitted, says 'm1 street legal tint' so just your average 35% I guess - looks a bit darker though? anyway its a good job

I know this is a late post, but was browsing and saw your car! Awesome looking mate for sure. Don't listen to those out there making fun cause its an Addidas edition, I think it looks great and awesome in white with tiny (although the tint looks awesomely dark, ours is 35% but just doesn't have that deep black look) all in all one of the best looking Mk6 golfs I've seen including some ugly arse R's. the interior is a nice upgrade from stock and just looks good. So hope it's till looking great! Great choice!

Honestly has made me think about getting a new Mk7 golf now instead of a Scirocco.

Just read through all these post. I recently just bought one of these bad boys. 2011 White with sunroof. Nice to know that only 1/10 had a sunroof. I will post pics up soon.

I too dislike the seats, but the added extras made it up and the low kms as well. This car is definitely different to your normal GTI's and I'm always one for being a tad unique even without the trackies...lol

The thing that annoys me the most is the Adidas logo on the B pillars but thats something a hairdryer and some fishing wire cant fix

From memory they were unique to the Adidas (similar to the revised p-slot's on the Mk5 Pirelli) so you had to have an Adidas to get them?

Oh yes your correct I was referring to the branding adidas (badges) in particular. You can tell its an adidas if your a VW fanboy but a regular person would just think it's a custom Golf.

200* were made. the adidas badge and interior is something different. sporty. unique and limited. cant go past those serrons as every man and his dog has detroits .....
love my das with a passion. wish it was silver or black though but hey. cant have everything.

Adidas is a classic German sports apparel company.. They invented the leather football studded boots, just like VW invented the hot hatch GTI. In Europe they are well respected. Im not ashamed to say I wear Adidas boots for soccer and have a few Adidas Chelsea jerseys + Jackets.
Why all the Hate?
