Hey LS, yep 18days. Actually the Sales Manager asked me if I minded waiting a couple of days longer than expected to pick her up. The request was made due to the volume of cars coming into the dealer all at once. I didn't mind at all since I've waited this long for it.

Hey Rob, even though I got the car yesterday I have not had a chance to take her for a good drive. It might be worth waiting till Thursday so at least you only have to wait 1 day till the weekend where you can spend more time in the car. The traffic is also better on weekends so better for driving.

I have only driven in sports mode, I might try the normal mode in the morning to see how that happens. In sports mode I find the steering quite stiff compared to the bmw, especially for day to day driving around busy roads and shopping centre parking etc. Maybe just the adjustments period from drivin a rear wheel drive car.

Hey DCRL, yeh Thursday is good for me. I have next week off work so I thought stuff it I'm taking this Friday off as well. She and I will have plenty of time to get to know each other.

Well guys I have her. My garage is the best room in the house now!

Managed to scare my wife which put the biggest smile on my face. Very composed for a small car and doesn't feel small on the road. Got heaps of attention at each set of lights. Maybe it was the led tails. One intersection got the thumbs up by the local plods. The car is everything you guys have already described. I understand why you really don't need viagra once you get one of these!!

Well going for another drive to see how the flapper mod sounds. Then back home to fit a few other things. To tune or not to tune.......that is the question!!

Although my car was on the same boat as LS's, my car hasn't been delivered to the dealership yet.
My dealer cannot give me any updates on my car so maybe another week or so for me to pick her up.
Maybe my car was one of the very last discharged from the ship.

Guys........it's just (insert loud swear word here!!) fantastic. What wait? Can't remember any of it now. Went for a late night cruise last night with the wife. On Eastlink one car nearly side swiped me having a look and a tradies 4x4 nearly ran off the road passing me and attempting to look back at the car. What I can't understand is why people in really clapped out cars want to race me at the lights. Even my wife had a few laughs. Damn car is too easy to speed in though.

It is worse at night.. the DRL and tails attract a lot of looks.. I get it a lot.. highly recommend you get the let number plate leds.. makes the rear really pop
