ahh yes forgot to mention the most important part =P. Yes she was ok, bit of whiplash and mainly shock. The funny part was what happened after the crash, she had a cup of tea in the center console and also a bag of nuts in a container on the seat, and after the crash the tea and nuts went everywhere over the leather and when the guy ran over to see if she was ok she was crazly trying to clean it all up with a towel =P. Funny things we do when we are in shock. But yeah no one was injured out of all the cars which is great.

Not as bad as the story above... but warning to not answer your phone when driving... got slightly distracted and bang into a kerb. There goes my nice shiny front detroit. Now all I have is a scratched up mess of a rim.2008 Mk5 Golf .:R32/ BMP/ RCD-510/ More to come

Have you noticed as well that Robert Street is now sign-posted four hour parking? Don't get a parking infringment too, that'll really p*ss you off.
Hey Frankenstrat. I have noticed that. I park there every day when I catch the train to go to work. They haven't got it yet on one side of the road though. Stupid revenue raising.2008 Mk5 Golf .:R32/ BMP/ RCD-510/ More to come

Lol ....that's a sign of good training when the girl friend knows to quickly clean up the tea and nuts prior to you seeing a stain lol

Devastated
Well as you can imagine im pretty upset over my R getting hit in the rear and shunted into a brand new Audi Q5 (Less than a Month old). At this stage I have no idea what the quote will come in at, but after having to wait 8 Months for my car, then only own it for 2 Months before this.. im devastated, angry, and a whole range of emotions actually.
Luckily only had some whiplash as a result, but he hit me pretty hard
To give you an idea, although it does not look much on this 4WD, the thing also had to be towed as well. Fk I was angry at the guy who hit us..
Will let you know how it all pans out.2011 Golf R MKVI | Candy White | 5 door | DSG | ACC | 19" Black rims | Vienna Leather Electric | RNS510 | Dynaudio | MY11 Bluetooth | Sunroof | Stage 1 APR Tune | On the road again...

Bitchin' - big bullbar on his car hides the extend of the damage done on the car behind.
I was involved in a similar accident in my MKV Golf GTI - except instead of a 4WD it was a bus, and it hit me so hard that I was pushed into the 3 vehicles in front, and it caused a buckle in every single body panel including the roof! Since the airbags didn't go off on my car (lucky, cause I was leaning forward to get a drink out of my door pocket) the insurance company thought they were going to repair it... until they started pulling it apart...
Sorry to hear about this mate.

I had a similar incident in a falcon years ago which ended up needing a new bonnet/boot, front/rear guards/bumpers, headlights and taillights and it didn't even look anywhere near as much of an impact as that!
If you're with AAMI, ask them to write it off. If you're with a decent insurer, hope they let you choose a good place!

Surely these panels and bonnets etc are not just laying around at VW Australia? Or would they be?2011 Golf R MKVI | Candy White | 5 door | DSG | ACC | 19" Black rims | Vienna Leather Electric | RNS510 | Dynaudio | MY11 Bluetooth | Sunroof | Stage 1 APR Tune | On the road again...
