I would like an opinion as to what I should have expected to pay (paperwork signed, waiting delivery) on a MY12.5(? Manufactured 27/1/12) GTD. Negotiated one for the sister's work car with the following specs:
Carbon Steel GTD
DSG
Boot Mat
MDI cable thingy
Front/side/back tinting
(not many options, hindsight says we should've probably pushed for the bonnet/headlight shields.. oh well)

Hi all, does anyone have experience with 30000km service costs for a GTD? Oil and filter, plus pollen filter (no brake fluid change unless it is 2+ years old). I have been quoted $445 - $550.
The pollen filter is worth about $25 (tops). So whatever your 15k was plus $25 plus 10 minutes to fit it if the cabin filter is the only difference.
Do the brake fluid as well - better earlier than later & you should be counting from the build date rather than delivery date (imo). It should only be about $60.

Hey Mate, Try Belco CVWC they quoted me around $350ish for the 30,000 service. Not due for a few month but was interested in the price.
They did my 15,000 and was about $200 cheaper then Phillip and $120 cheaper then Gerald Slaven. Certainly great guys to deal with and recommend them

Picking up my GTD this Friday, no big mods planned yet, I purchased Osrams german contacts R LED Tails anf got a set of LED number plate lights (dealer is fitting them at no cost during delivery). Will also be doing the garage door opener mod in a few weeks when the button turns up from Carstyleforyou. Can't wait

AM pickup tomorrow, dealer recons it took them hours to fit the LEDs hmm, after seeing the vids on YouTube their techs mustn't be very techie! Worst thing is going to work yesterday the Tiguan (which is 2 weeks out of warranty) threw up a check exhaust system light...so dropping off the Tig for repair and driving away in the GTD! Hopefully VWA authorises the dealer to repair it FOC.

Congratulations, BRH. The LEDs certainly add to the look, no doubt about it. Any pics of the tails? And, I think you're right, it shouldn't take that long to put on and code the tails. Enjoy.
