          • Any scrubbing with 235's? I ruled out a set of V713's cos of assumed scrubbing issues with legal sized tyres. But your car is making me change my mind again

              • Not sure if this is the right place for this, but it is about tyres and there is Golf as well.

                  • Can anyone please explain to me why most good looking aftermarket wheels for golf mk6 particularly 17X7.5 come in 45mm offset as opposed to 50/51mm OEM offset, is it because they are cheaper to produce than 50/51mm offset or they fit or look better on the golf?

probably because it's a slightly more aggressive stance & it allows them to give the appearance of a dished wheel.

17x7.5 ET45 is an OEM fitment on a lot of VW group vehicles AFAIK.

They are actually Audi Rs6 390mm 6pots. They also use them on the Audi r8. Still not cheap.
