MK6 1.4 TSI clicking/tapping noise

Hey Team,

I picked up a 1.4 tsi with 35,000km from a used car dealership about a month ago, over the last week I've been noticing that the initial idle after a cold start is pretty rough and shaking the car, then when it settles into the lower rpm idle there's the tapping/clicking shown in the video linked below.

My previous car was a 2.0 tdi 215,00 km on the clock and endless issues so I don't really have a suitable comparison. Could really use either some insight into what needs to be fixed or some reassurance that my car isn't ****ed lol

Both videos sound fine / normal to me. The direct injection petrol engines are quite noisy when idling.

Hey thanks for checking the videos out, hope you're right, I tend to get super caught up and paranoid on any noise that changes or appears sometimes.
