Mine is sitting in the shop waiting for a new engine... less than 2 year old Jetta TSi (1.4) with a cracked piston head... WTF?

Yeah, that doesn't sound right at all only if they could provide the explanation!

Mine has done the first service at 36,500km and I have done 4 oil changes myself with the Mobil 1 ESP.

The car is not even 1 year until another 2 weeks and it past 39,000km now!

The turbo run full-time at least twice every day.

Had my Jetta put onto the back of a tow truck,to go to Pickles auctioneers to be auctioned.

Well I have seen dyno results which yield 12 KW/W and that sounds about right as far as my butt dyno can tell. Mid to top end is much better and boy it sounds angry when under full load now! Seccond gear used to scramble for grip and sometimes wheelspin depending on yawing/road surface etc..... but now seccond gear wheelspins every time which is an indicator of the power increase.
If I were you I would go the fron dump pipe section as the cat back only gives you 3 - 4 KW/W tops!
