Fitted a Forge Twintake on Sunday. Very happy with it so far. Quite noisy, but my car kind of is anyway. Quite simple to install too. Just hard to access the fitting on the elbow.
Hey John!
That looks really cool man!, I can't imagine the noise sporty?
replaced the stock paper filter on the GTI with a high flow gauze filter by jetex. pulling the engine cover off was fun...but successfully got it off without breaking anything. (thanks to jmac for the tips).
can say there is a noticable difference... a little intake whine, and improved throttle response in low revs. enough to get a smile.
only wanted to do a basic mod as the car is going to the mrs this year...
Got the full sound system installed Alpine head unit with ddliner front splits type R rear splits, type R 12" sub and a big amp to run it all and it sounds awsome !!!
YAY I got my R!!!! White, recaro seats, 19" wheels, bluetooth, reverse camera
Got my HPA KW SHS coilovers fitted to my R32 today. Extremely happy with result! Car sits much better on the road now. Feels really good dynamically especially through windy hills. Its not the "on-rails" feeling that i had with the lib but somehow a more palatable blend of tight handling without compromising comfort. One thing I noticed is when I started the car, the huge reduction in vibration and shudder, can hardly hear that the motor is running! And that horrible underdamped feel is gone!
Oh, I did manage to get a scrape from the front wheels under hairpin tight turns under hard acceleration, not sure if this is an issue yet.
i just realsided what a pointless waste of time it is positing anything in this thread. And to test my theroy I am going to post my aforementioned info in another thread and see what response I get.
This week I installed a Carbonio intake, had a ATP 3" Downpipe and 3" Custom cat back done by Geoff Noakes at Powertone in Phillip, and had a Peter Shelly at CVWC Belco apply the APR software to suit the hardware on my pirelli gti and all I can say is GEEEEEEZUZ!! Sounds great and drives fast!

2013 Skoda Fabia vRS Black KW V1 coilovers, CAI Tuned by TMC Motorsport
Bought the Golf a Camper Trailer. Booked in at the Pt Pirie CP over Easter to give it a try out. Really looking forward to this, haven't been able to do it since the sale of the T4 Transporter. Driving home this morning, the Golf didn't know the trailer was hooked on.
Finally got round to washing my car today, was covered in dust and other nasty things, though i must say it looked better when it was dirty, the dirt covered up all of the water and swirl marks lol
