Get a Go Fast Bits DV+. It retains the solenoid part but replaces the diaphram. Looks factory, works better than factory & is more reliable.

This should be the right one but double check
GFB GO Fast Bits DV Blow OFF Valve FOR Late Model VAG Euro Applications T9351 | eBay

Keep the old diaphram & when you sell the car swap back to stock & sell the GFB DV+ on the forum

cheers mate, pretty easy, I needed to trim the silicone pipes quite a bit because the pirelli IC that it connects to (its a twintercooler) is more like the audi s3, but other than that its a direct bolt on

Cool. I am split between modding my GT or just keeping it going and replacing it sometime next year. If I keep it, this is high on the list to do.
            MY08 Mk5 GT Sport - sold
            MY14 Tiguan 118TSI - sold (Mazda3 SP25GT in its place)
MY16 Golf 7R: sold (Caterham Super 7 and Hyundai i30N in its place)

Today the Jetta got a Mass air flow sensor and VWR pod filter clean, along with engine bay clean and installed powerflex performance dogbone bushing followed by dsg re-calibration [emoji1]
