But you would have had a clue about that beforehand... wouldn't you?

60k is 4 years - timing belt as well?

      • I am having 60k service done at Norris Kedron 1 December. My first choice was Mike Weber, but he is 50ks from me and I just can't get their between now and Christmas.

They have quoted the price (much, much less than $1800). I will post the price after it has been done with feedback on how it all went.

Didn't realise you had an R32.
Did they do the Haldex & diffs?

                    • My rear skirt came for the Jetta today (thanks lowtdi). With the springs going on Saturday I need to find time to get the skirt painted now.

Plus car is getting a full inside and out detail next Saturday. Car will be looking pretty schmick in a for nights time.

                      • Pulled out the MFD2 satnav last weekend & fitted the Kufatec module and VW Ipod adapter. All put back and working great. Kufatec is worthwhile upgrade, digital speed readout very accurate (not like the speedo) and now I can use my Itouch for music (though it doesn't charge, need an older Ipod for that to work).
I decided against upgrading to the RNS510 as I like the look of the MFD2 in the car, particularly at night.
