Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

                Bad day

                Jetta = had an accident with my Boss in the Works car, Jetta has damaged front drivers guard and bumper & broken RHS Headlight protector

                Golf = Possible Turbo Failure

                  Just to report that the Golf TDI turbo has indeed failed and is currently at the dealers undergoing (extended) warranty repairs.

                    50'000 Km service complete. And I might add, if anyone wants to goto a VW dealership that treat you like family and look after you, head down to Epping Bayford VW. Elvis, Mike and the boys are champions... so glad I started seeing them rather than the rude arrogant ass holes at other VW dealerships in the past.

                          Installed these the other day (yes I'm fully aware the fog/reverse are the wrong way around, on my todo list)

                          The OEM Xenons that I put in a few weeks ago

                          And another shot for good measure

                            Swerved to avoid a bike and collected the kern taking a chunk out of my mag wheel not happy,hoping I didn't damage anything else
