Also, when it was inspected (all new cars that arrive are inspected before hand over) the car had only 7km on it, this is stated on the inspection form. The dates were all correct, so it couldn't have been a demo. It arrived in the country as new and in mid May. I know that it was placed on order from a dealer too.
What dealers do, i found out by a mate who works for Holden, that when you purchase a new car, they sometimes order it from dealers that may already have placed an order/orders with the company, to get it in fast!
I only waited about 3-4 weeks for it.
My only concern is that it was taken for a joy ride, because when i asked for a test drive before i bought it, they had none in manual, so i drove the EOS instead, which has the same specs and power.
Question, they say that you get 5.7ltr/100Km, but i only got 620Km on a tank.... i sort of hammered it, but not the majority of the time.... i thought i would get about 750-900km a tank!! A tank lasted me 2 full weeks anyway....
regards,
George
