I am in love, her name is VW..... Metallic Black! HOT!!!

Price was $38,600 but i smashed them down to $33,900!!!!

I have been driving the first VW i have ever owned and i love it.
Its been two weeks now and things are great....

One thing that didn't impress me was the fact that i received it new with 65km on the clock! I have had new cars before and i think 65km is too too much.
When i questioned the issue, i got a response of "it was from getting the tints, filling the tank, and so on, it all adds up". I simply said the sales girl "BULLFKN SH!!!TTTT (i did haha), you guys took it for a test drive, that i know. No BRAND NEW CAR comes with 65km on the clock!" "You telling me that you drove from Mascot to say Parramatta just for tints?? Im not dumb!"
I'm getting another full tank of diesel for it though. I know guys, 65km is nothing compared to what i will do in it, but.... 65km for a new car???

I called VW, gave them the VIN number to confirm that it wasn't a demo and they did. They assured me that it was ordered as brand new, for the dealer.
The import badge had late May 08.... so my mind was at ease.

You guys think i was being too petty??

I have one question though for anyone that will help;

1) 15,000km first service?? Really?? Is there anything i should do before, change oil or anything.... 15,000km for a first service is way too long isn't it??
I know VW and diesel's are strong but.......

and no. Some have changed their own oli at 7500k's but is up to you. The beauty of full synthetics mate.

When we picked up our Mazda6 (new), before I could get near the car, the sales guy told me that the speedo was reading 28km. It was due to roll on/roll off logistics, moving around the holding yard, getting tint and rear sensors fitted. I asked for a 'free' bonnet protector. He said "Yeah, why not." I said "cool...then you won't miss a pair of headlight protectors then will you?" After a 5 minute check of stocks etc...he came back and said "remind me when we do the 1000km service." Id be pretty disappointed in 65kms on the clock too. I picked my jetta up it had 23km, also had tint, protection work and fuel in it. When we bought our Xtrail in Dec 06 it had 7kms on it. 65kms aint what you expect on a NEW car. Atleast the delaer is giving you something for it and at the end of the day it is pretty in significant once you get in it and drive

Thats easily 5 demos = 5 thrashings!!

Any new cars bought in my family have had less than ~20kms on them.

But hey, its not a performance car so hopefully it hasnt had its balls thrashed off - If it was an r32 I'd be more worried.

Looking at this with a reslistic vision I would say how much damage could possibly be done in 65km - sweet bugger all.

But good work on getting the free tanks of juice!

Well, she was asking for $36K.... i asked if i can use the phone, she said yeah sure. I called VW Liverpool, put them on speaker phone and that was it!!

It pays to be in sales and have a mouth like mine! hahaha
