    sounds like the people who did the sticker and the computer stuffed it up.
    If you took it in at 7500 then it should go back in at 15000 then 30000.

      Hi Wokwn,

      My 30,000km service cost $340 and odd cents back in Dec at Barloworld Glen Waverly if that helps gauge for you!

          Yeah I am expecting much more $ as the dealer said that they change the brake fluid at 30,000.

          Does anyone have access to actual VW service schedules*? My logbook only has vague stuff in it (and doesn't mention Jetta anyway, just Golf).

          This thread has a list of suggested service costs.

          (* Yes, I know dealer will argue about different driving conditions in Au)

            yes the service book is a bit vague on the nature of the work performed. Std is every 15,000km or 12 months which ever comes first, unless you are regulary driving in harsh conditions which they state every 7,500km or six months, and yes I thought brake fluid should be done every 2 years and coolant?, then could be more if you need brake pads, which is more likely on a Euro car, ie they are softer and wear faster....

              Yep and after two years I'm also expecting fuel filter, maybe cabin filter (pollen filter).

                That site actually breaks down all of the services, going through what needs to be done, and includes the parts required.

                For example the 30,000:

                Job instructions

                * Interogate 5051 fault memories & printed report.
                * Reset service interval indicator.
                * Carry out service to manufacturer specifications.
                * Replace engine oil and filter.
                * Check drive belts.
                * Check cooling system.
                * Check air cleaner element.
                * Check exhaust system.
                * Replace brake fluid.
                * Check all oil levels.
                * Check steering & suspension components.
                * Check front and rear brakes.
                * Lubricate locks, hinges & latches.
                * Check all seat belt components.
                * Check & adjust parking brake.
                * Check lights, wipers, tyre pressure & all fluid levels.
                * Replace pollen filter.
                * Check battery electrolyte and fluid level.
                * Carry out road test to manufacturer handbook.

                Parts

                * Brake fluid, .25l - 3 piece(s)
                * Sump plug - 1 piece(s)
                * Oil filter element, axc a - 1 piece(s)
                * Pollen filter - 1 piece(s)

                Oil & Lubricants

                  I just had a mini service done by Burwin VW in Melbourne. I'd intended to have the oil changed at 7,500 kms, but it ended up stretching to 10,000 before it happened. Had a couple of minor warranty things to do too (a clip of some sort on the seat rail had cracked, and a tapping noise from underneath the car (which turned out to be exhaust)). Quoted at $140, and they provided me with a Jetta for a few hours. So, even though they are a fair way from where I live, I'll be using them again.
