I have a CW GT TSI with DSG and I kinda wish I had got the diesel as the TSI can't be chipped by anyone local.

I think if a chip ever comes out for it (unlikely) then it will be superb.

I think There will be one coming out in the very close future

I went for the Reflex Silver,just more practical,and mine is a MY2007 2.O FSI auto.
I have done 34000 kilometers in it.

We ordered a GT Sport TSI, BMP, manual, anthracite leather, with VW corporate discount it was $38500. We waited 4 months for delivery and still nothing.

So we cancelled that and went for something in stock. 5 door GTI, BMP, manual, anthracite leather, $40834 (delivered this week but since sent back to fix the paint and detailing!). I don't think anyone has yet posted a deal this good, but I think dealer felt bad not having stock for a VW Corporate client, complained to head office, etc, and we got a good deal on something sitting around in Melbourne (shipped to Sydney). This price was without VW corporate rogramme as the system would not allow it to be so low using this pricing model.

Stock car is $39990, leather $3000, pearl paint $700, dealer delivery supposedly $1995 (was worthless as it turns out), plus GST, then stamp duty, CTP, and rego which are all state dependent. So a significant discount, in the order of $10000 (20%) off full RRP in the end.

And the whole time we were waiting we've had a VW loaner to use. It is a very good time to buy if you want something from stock at the moment.

You did well. I paid $34,800 for the same specs (cash no trade). You will love it. The 2.0 TDI and 6xman is a great combination.
