Tidy work there. Where did you source the R32 rear lights? Did you fit them? I've done the tint and colour-code and have been keen to get the R32 rear lenses....I think we're in different states, so don't worry, you'll still be unique where you live! Cheers
I have several sources for getting the tail lights. Dub Addiction will be stocking them in the future. Just getting them here at a competitive price isnt easy!
Cheapest place you will find them on the net is probably TM Tuning in germany. But be prepared to wait a couple months for delivery from the time of placing the order.
I have a White 3dr Golf GTI as well - nice choice!
Anyway, I've noticed this on my car and it bugs me a little - but it can be seen quite clearly in the photo so I thought I'd bring it up. Does anyone else notice the fact that the door doesn't align perfectly with the body? at the windowline?
yeah thats the little black strip along the bottom of the glass you mean? It bothers me too! Would be nice if there was a little matching piece to rectify the issue

I just went through and edited my earlier posts as well. The rims are actually ET52 not 50. So final ET would be 49
Tomorrow morning ill be busy installing my Black Forest Industries torque arm insert and doing the front fender screw mod. Under hard cornering today I managed to scrub on a big mid corner bump and on inspection its the screw im hitting.
Well ive just come back from taking run ups at speed humps and seeing if the tyres scrub. And certainly the fender screw mod has made a huuuuuge difference! Im not scrubbing where i was previously. Only time will tell. I need to hit a nice big hump mid corner to be sure its 100% fine now.
In other news. I just fitted my Black Forrest Industries torque arm insert. I know im biased cos I sell the things. But wow what a nice improvement out of a simple $50 mod. In my 6 speed manual there was no real noticeable difference in vibration. Just a lack of the engine flapping about so much. My biggest gripe with the GTI up until now has always been the clutch feel and this is really a step in the right direction for me turning this car into something I look forward to driving.
Installation took me around 10 minutes including trying to find a lost socket in the garage. Does need to be lubed up before going in there though and a bit of a whack with a mallet.
