What he said. Took a while to get used to brakes with so much assistance. And felt they worked well right from new too.Originally posted by Tim View Postmy GTIs brakes are the opposite. To the point where i think theyre too sensitive! They have about an inch of free movement and then u hit the spot which sends you thru the windscreen!
but yeah. define pretty stiff. U shouldnt have to pump anything or exert too much force?07 Golf GTI 3 door, Tornado red, 6 speed Manual
Red may be the devils colour, but this car is pure heaven

Right now the only assistance I am getting that would help with the braking is a 200kg fat guy helping me to push it in. Now not sure if this is related to the bedding of the brakes, but the brakes on my R32 are no where near the sensitivity of the one that I test drove.Originally posted by datracer99 View PostWhat he said. It's been suggested that I speed up to 60km and stomp on the brakes to bed them. But given that it's thrown an engine fault code and it's not idling properly it's a bit hard to do that.
Just frustrated, I got lots of work and new car isn't working as intended
