Model: Golf Comfortline 6 speed tiptronic
Engine: 2.0FSI 110kw
Year: 2007MY
KMs: Bought at 30k, now 80k
Positives
- comfortable
- auto wipers/headlights were considered a luxury in those days
- has been reliable, only one real issue to date (ABS module)
- reflex silver paint still looks very good despite not being cared for all that well
Negatives
- fuel economy is worse than the 2.0T engine, I think mainly due to transmission losses?
- interior a little dated, this has been corrected somewhat by installing an aftermarket touchscreen headunit/nav
- rear right door lock motor replaced
- ABS module replaced @80k. Second hand unit fitted, total cost $530 inc brake bleed
- not a GTI
