Thanks guys, it took 5 months for them to turn up!
I like the stance, looks the goods. I had to bend one of the front inner guard liner tags a bit to stop any rubbing. 19s and you couldnt really go as low without major surgery.
      Cheers, Andrew

Thanks Steve, still yet to get out and punt through a few corners.
Maybe have to wait till next weekend when I tackle the famous elephant pass in the north east or the folloowing weekend when I go to visit Brackie.
Either way, its going to cop a hiding somewhere!!!!!

Well, took my GTI for a good thrash over the weekend. The GF was carsick the whole way which is a newie for her!
The handling was great in the windy stuff but the crashing in dips on the road was very ordinary.
I think I will raise the front 15m/m and see how that goes.
On the real windy stuff it felt like a gokart and apart from a missfire, (another faulty coilpack??) it was very fast point to point between the corners and through them.
                            Cheers, Andrew

                              Hi Andrew

Was the suspension bottoming-out due to lack of travel?

How's the low speed ride comfort now compared to OEM? Still jiggly?

Hey Spashalot, low speed ride isnt a lot different to the standard ride. I find the rear still "jiggles" on bumps at around 60-80 km/h. The local manhole cover on the highway near work is the perfect test.
Lack of travel could well be an issue, thats what I have been thinking. The front outer tyre will hit the tab on the front guards under hard cornering. I bent those tabs up but I think it might be a little too low for them. 19 inch wheels would raise more of an issue there!
It definately feels more confident in tight corners which made me more confident!
                                Cheers, Andrew
