It would be nice if there was something available for the Polo GTI to reduce axle tramp.

I apologise, I should have said, similar.

I will add upon inspection, there are quite big differences between the 2 approaches to the solution.

APR look to have more contact area with a lower stiffness (based on provided info) where the Neuspeed one contacts less and provides more resistance.

Even if you are unhappy with one that you buy, the other one is still less than $100 as an alternative!

Soon Mitch, soon - that one we have been working on for 14 months - now on prototype #5 - should be done shortly (#5 works pretty well!)

milkinoz - no offense taken - we take a lot of time with these things, so many people buy them from OS & they are not what they expected. Fact is our Australian made ones are rebadged in the US & believe it or not have been purchased by Aussie people not knowing (importing back in an Aussie product ) !

          Unreal Guy,

Ill be snapping one of those up for sure, anything to reduce axle tramp. Hopefully it will help a little in the wet aswell (super bad tramp in the wet through first and second gear)<---- thanks to the huge power increase of the APR flash !!!!!!

why would an R need one?

                  an R needs two turbochargers

Because it's got a transmission possibly?

Do you know what they do?

Should I say that a GTI needs two more driven wheels?

Let's not start this GTI vs R crap here as well.

you probly need to understand why it reduces axle tramp. my guess would be due to excessive drivetrain movement which is usually a compromise car companies make in the pursuit of comfort and refinement.

So even though the r32 may not suffer from axle tramp it still may benefit from uprated mounts?

                          One for the Jetta?

So is there one for the Jetta and would it I suppose be just as an effective mod for reducing tramp?

                            Settle down.

All i was saying was that surely the R32 wouldnt suffer from tramping.

And in regard to the turbochargers, can you imagine the noise a TT R32 would make

Jesus christ, lets all jump up and down. I would own a R32 anyday over a GTI.

I had ordered one of the 'un ozzy' ones before Andrew started this thread and installed it today.

In short it works and is an improvement.

In terms of an $180 mod (read $80 for insert and $100 for new torque wrence for installation) it has bang for buck status.

Same part used on Jetta (as far as installation instructions on my one stated at least).
