    Ahh . . . nope . . . I wouldn't do that. If it's not in the manual, it's not for public dissemination.

Talking about the AC. Is there any way to program it so it doesn’t let fresh air in?
I hate when I am driving around and I start smelling the exhaust fumes from the old stupid Subaru in front of me....

Have you considered (shock horror !!) reading your owner's manual ? It will probably identify a button called "recirc" or similar (on mine it is labelled with a symbol like an oval with an arrowhead on one end). Note that this will reduce the amount of fresh air you are breathing, and this can cause some people to get drowsy.

Thank you for your comment captain obvious. As stated in my post I was after a way to program this feature to always stay on (No outside air). If I want fresh air, ill use my index finger and press that nice little button on the door that.... Guess what! opens the window

              Dont be a smartarse.

Car makers are not allowed to have that function the way you want it. A lot of new cars even re open the recirc after a period of time.

+1. The A/C can also get a moldy smell at certain times of the year and leaving it always on recirc doesn't help.

No, actually you didn't say "to always stay on (No outside air). " in your first post, hence my gentle reminder.

You wouldn't believe how many noobs ask questions about things that are clearly spelt out in the owner's manual, and often covered quite well by existing threads as well (some people are too lazy to read the owner's manual, and too lazy to do a search).

If the above ("captain obvious" comment) is typical of your response to genuine answers to your questions, you might not appreciate the sort of 'assistance' you will sometimes get here

No, even when in recirculation mode it lets in some fresh air.

What you want to do is to fit the air quality sensor which allows the car to switch to recirculate automatically to prevent. I'll be doing this soon but I'm not sure on cost or complexity, around $300-400 I suspect and half a days work.

I have just checked my speed using the Climate Control and I can confidently say my Speedo is out by exactly 3km.

When I am doing 60, the CC is showing 57.

Yes but the climate control is not always accurate to road speed either.

Mine showed the same but real speed was out by 7kmh.
Check with a GPS or Navi.

I thought the climate control was essentially the GPS speed, or is that only if you got the RNS510?

I find the speedo on the dash a fair way out, 110 climate = 120 dash.

I've been testing the speed over the last few days and I've noticed that when I'm doing low speeds of around 40-70kms it is out by 2-3kms but once I get up to the 90's - 100's it starts going out by 4-5kms.

                            Is this normal? -_-

I've also been using a GPS at the same time and the speed the climate control is telling me is pretty much on par with the GPS.

Fangy, it's out by a percentage; up to 10%. At low speeds the difference betwwen the actual speed and indicated is smaller than it would be at higher speeds.
