Golf 2.0fsi intermittent stuttering but no error codes

Update; doing an italian tuneup seem to have improved how the engine runs and I can hardly fault it now like I could a week ago. I assume it would somehow clean out a bit of carbon buildup.

Unfortunately, it seems the tuneup did my aircon in, I assume it must have been at its last leg if driving at high RPMs would cause it to fail.

Glad to hear, driving the car hard every now and then all throughout the rev range seems to cure the problem.
