When I say it missed the 120k service, I mean the DSG wasn’t serviced. Everything else was done. In fact being a private purchase I had my local mechanic change oil, filter, air filter, plugs & serp belt as I didn’t trust what the previous owner said they had done. So really all I’m after is the DSG service, unless you guys reckon I should get more done?

What specialist did you use?

JF Motors in Richmond I used recently. They did DSG and 2 CV boots.

Previous one was completed by Volkscare in Boronia, DSG and general servicing.

Although from about 120k onwards I've done my own servicing with the exception of the DSG.

If your location of Maitland is correct then i would suggest the following 2x places for other quotes:

Newcastle VW Centre, Wickham
Twilight Automotive, Cardiff

I have used both these shops before and they know VW's well. Would happily recommend either of them.

I rang both Hunter and Newcastle Volkswagen dealers and re-stated my request for just DSG service pricing, and both came back with $485
