Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    my dad is looking at purchasing a new R32 later in the year that would be 2 performance Mk5 Golfs in our driveway hahahaha i cant wait

        my cousin was also going to get the passat and THANK GOD I talked him out of it.dont get me wrong ,its very nice,if you have 3 grown kids and heaps of gear but if you drive ,one person only 99% of the time,the r32 is much better!!

            yeah i've got it at the moment and holy *crap* is it nice. im still not a big fan of the DSG thou.

            needs a louder exhaust/intake you cant hear enough of that sweet vr6.

                $63,050 with everything in (Recaros, rear parking sensors) was the invoice amount. Registered, on the road in Queensland.

                So spec is:
