Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Is this on road? Either way, seems very good to me. I'm on my 1st Dub (an R32 DSG 3Dr) and i'll never go back......

Get your cousin to jump on here once he's got it and share his thoughts

Sounds very cheap - unless they had a cancelled order.

Make sure that includes LCT and On-roads.... Often they don't quote LCT in the figure because it's a tax.

LCT applies to the car and any options fitted at time of delivery.

Mind u i didn't haggle...to excited! And i needed a good trade to get out of my Alfa.

I paid $63800 on road for a 3Dr, DSG, Roof, B/Tooth & iPod, NSW reg. Just a fraction under retail, moved the discount into my trade. Discount equated to about 3k....so your deal seems pretty good if it is on orad and taxed. It's all in the way trades are done...whats he trading and what did he get for it?
