GTI vs R32

It shows that an R32 is always fastest.
2nd is the Ed30
3rd is a Mk6 GTI
4th is a Mk5 GTI
5th is a GT TSI

They're all very close, but the R is always faster.

sorry to be rude but yes the new WRX is quicker to 100 due to its new boost of power from 168 or 169kW sry forgot the exact figures but it got boostd to to 195kw

BUT at 168/9kw the G3 WRX which was 2007 b4 they updated in 08 if im not mistaken, got beaten by a 3dr manual Golf GTI around a track both are 'stock' andd my proof is that it was on fifth gear try having a look on youtube if you havnt seen it yet,

andd i dnt have either of these cars let alone have one yet, but wouldnt it depend on the driver it self, what there ooking for etc? meaning if they wanted to tune it for less to get max power gains they'd pick the GTI over the R32? orr im sure theres been a car reviewer thats done a comparison of both try looking on google=)

wasnt referring to a new one.. Its an 06 STI so the last of the decent shaped ones before that ugly hatchback.. Yeah the interior is low rent but I dunno guess like I was saying its a more performance oriented car to begin with than the GTI, just felt like it suited me more.

Will have the autotech pump, vf short shifter, new cam follower, pcv and piston DV installed next wk.. should make the drive more interesting but Im not looking forward to even worse tramp.

Stop telling me to buy a bloody motorbike RIG lol.. I had a lot of accidents, broken leg, arm, bashed kidneys, wrist, screwed my neck etc.. did a lot of bodily harm on two wheels when I was younger so dont really wanna go down that road again.

Not yet, something always comes up when I'm ready to get coils.. got the anti lift kit and TAI but they do nothing.. Have you got sways as well? In the dry could you flatten it in first spin like crazy and not tramp at all?

What sort of power do you have? stage 1 or 2?

no sways, just kw variant 3 setup quite stiff.
I definitely spin more than hop, but I only noticed tramp in the wet now.

Yeah I'm not recommending it, just puts things into perspective re: fast, and was just saying there will always be something faster around.
