As I've said my old Bora didn't have bright fog lights and I've tested the Touareg's on a long dark road and they were far from annoying. They were on without actually causing any glare or brightness.. As for my Jetta, it doesn't have them.

So, I was thinking that maybe this other ones are the right thing

I always lol at these light mods.
Enthusiasm still means that you have to comply with the rules. BTW, I'm sure that if they really wanted to book you, that you have provided the coppers with a tight case on what you have done to your car (registration and all).
Just a thought for ya!
Oh BTW it looks COOL.

my car is too low, my wheels are too wide, my tints are too dark, my foot is too heavy... who cares. at the end of the day its whether or not you act like an idiot with what you have at your disposal. i find it rather amusing that everyone loves to get on their high horse everytime someone mentions the word light.2x Caddy, 1x Ducato

When you make a headlight/foglight/taillight mod however you affect EVERYONE on the road and put their safety at risk (again who cares about your safety as that's your business) and that's why these xenon conversions and blackout kits are illegal in just about every country in the world (if not all countries).website: www.my-gti.com

Have to admit I don't like it when someones fogs are so bright it annoys me... But I won't argue it to the death, like some people here.... It's not my place to enforce the law....
Although I do have to admit having xenons and the yellowish halogen fogs don't really compliment each othersigpic

You know that I have HELLA halogen projector headlights with a cheapie HID kit in them.
Is that ok with you?
No washers, no auto levelling but the range control still works...

if the HID lights become dirty or poorly adjusted, it's heaps easier to dazzle oncoming drivers due to the sheer lumen output.
basically, there is a big difference in the shape of a halogen reflector to a HID reflector. if you fit a hid kit to some a reflector that's designed for a halogen globe,
the results are often less than stunning.
some halogen reflectors cope very well with hid type globes, others do not.
my last car, a toyota soarer had projector type lenses, and the fitting of a hid kit (once adjusted correctly) was great.
nice sharp cutoff, and didn't get flashed once.
if you have the correct type of reflector fitted, i see no problems with a HID upgrade, the boys in blue might see it differently though.
also, the vehicle should not pass a roadworthy inspection with hid fitted (if it's not OEM)
you can buy Hella projector type headlights for the golf, and these are one of my intended mods, then i can try a hid kit in the golf.
if it does not perform as required, it will be removed.
sorry for the long winded reply.
