No acceleration while braking!

Im with you silver caravelle, i get in my wifes MK v auto golf on weekends to top it up with petrol and have almost learnt the hard way coming into a round about when left foot braking , sitting duck for a couple of seconds just inviting someone to tee bone me. I bought it up with VW on the first service and was told that was the way it was designed to be. Looking at getting a GTi soon but would need to see if they have the same set up and if so see if it could be changed with the edit. I know with my Ford that there are a mile of changeable parameters which can be altered so hoping that VW tuning is as tuner friendly as my other cars that run with the CAPA flash tuners.
