Thanks for the update but if you wouldn't mind asking - how did you find out? Did Denlo say so?

I might call them to confirm. He is very customer focussed and is great to deal with. It would be a shame to lose contact with him.

If Jamil has gone to Wakelings then good luck getting to talk to him about extended warranty there. I rang them yesterday & asked to speak to Skoda sales regarding an extended warranty. The receptionist insisted that only their finance people dealt with warranty products.... except the finance people were busy & she'd get them to call me back. That was at 11.00am yesterday & I'm still waiting for their call.

In the meantime, Jazz dealt with my call, gave me a verbal quote & sent me a PDS & written quote all in the space of 15 minutes.

OK - just got the goss on Jamil's whereabouts from Denlo.
He is still with Inchape motors but has been transferred to Linfield Subaru, he hasn't gone to Paul Wakelings.
Still a finance mgr over at Lindfield Subaru and he is off today.
Will contact him tomorrow to see if he can still help forum members with VW extended warranties.

If you are patient - you may be able to save a couple of hundred $$ more (like I and many others have) by buying off him.

Ok - called Lindfield Subaru and was told that Jamil does work at Narellen - Narellen Subaru. He spilts his time between the Narellen Subaru dealership and the one at Lindfield. That solves the reason why Rocket36 was told that he worked at Narellen and I was told Lindfield.

He is on leave till Friday and is working this Saturday at Lindfield. Will call him on Sat and update after that.

Just got ours from Jamil today, and agree with those who say he is on the money.
Thoroughly recommend for price (unchanged) and service, - I mucked up some details.
Just hope we don't need it.

Thanks for the info Dan. You didn't get any local (I'm in Newcastle/Hunter area as well!) prices did you, eg Klosters or Hunter VW? I was going to give them a chance for a price to see what they can come up with.
