It will also disappear if you lower the front windows a tiny bit - a centimetre will fix it. Something about wind dynamics inside ....

X2 I never have an issue with the petrol cap...sits nicely on the flap whilst filling easy peasy.

Does the GT have a cap holder (I'll check the manual, Mav but it is not immediately apparent).

            TG
They all have it, the cap has slots in the side and there are two raised spots on the back of the flap where you sit it.

I'll be doing a spot of cleaning tomorrow...so I'll take a photo or 2 and post them up.

I have to say it is a very simple answer to the problem and I find it works very well.

I only really have one; the slow indicators! Drives me insane

Any way of speeding things up in that department?
How fast an indicator do you need? just take the fuse out or a bulb.

For me, the rattles and build quality are very disappointing, not really anywhere near as good as Audi in that respect.

The premium sound system isn't premium (fixed that).

The seats aren't real or full leather.

                  Otherwise pretty good.

Mine is still a fair way out even after correction.. Not sure what's with that but the speedo is still more than the canbus speed

Hmm taking out the bulb won't actually speed up the pattern, it'll just make the "tick tock" and the little green arrow go faster on the inside but keep the outside blinker at the same pace.. I dunno, just thought I'd nit pick and yeah that's something that really bugs me.

Another thing is that stupid single LED indicator on the front side of the mirror... Either put like 5 or don't bother!

I dont worry re the canbus speed thats incorrect too.

Totally agree. Half-hearted job for sure. That one LED doesn't cut the mustard and light the front perspex very well. Noticed it's been fixed on the MkVI (mmm...wonder if internals are interchangable).

Are you referring to the external mirror indicators? I'm sure there are at least three leds in there.

It does have 3 LEDs. 2 facing back for people in side lanes to see and 1 facing forward.

I'm talking about the 1 facing forward. I wonder if the Octavia mirrors are interchangeable....
