I spoke to guy yesterday and hes waiting on further advice from america, but they plan to have a sale in the next few weeks. Keep your eye out, and no doubt Guy will post about it.

If they offer 15% off FMIC's and downpipes I'll be looking pretty damn hard to get one of each.

I would even consider getting APR if it was that price. Thats the main reason I've never gone with ECU upgrades! I think its too expensive.

Come on APR, throw us twincharged TSI'ers a bone

Over 2k for an upgrade is pretty high but at the prices you guys are able to get ECU upgrades, I'd be there in a flash (excuse the pun).

Nardi just had a look at the link but, if i'm not blind, there is nothing on that page that relates to the 1.4lt twincharged engine?

basically u buy the device, hook it up to the car and it will store your OEM map.

connect the device with your pc via usb and the software will upload your oem map to Superchip in uk. they will then send you back a new map which u will download from your device and upload to the car.

depends on the time zone, the whole process took me 1.5 hours.

the thing i love the Bluefin is that i can keep a copy of my original OEM map, which can be reflash into the car at any time and it will be like stock car again (ie. when i take my car in for service).

with most other flash on the market, when you want to go back to stock, they will only put in "their" stock map.

also Superchip is willing to alter your map to your request. some people have asked for a richer map at higher rpm and Superchip has no problem supplying it.

i'm not sure if bluefin can flash your car. i guess best to ask Superchip directly.
