R32 and GTI fuel usage?

    Really depends on how you are driving it.
    City is a lot worse due to the accellerate and decellerate.
    In Canberra and rush hour (if it even counts) I am usually around 6.5 -7l/100 but that is mostly cruising, just keeping up with the traffic in 6th (usually around 80km/h)
    Highways is around 7-7.5

        Compared to the 16.5l i used to get on the 5.7l Chev in my last car this is a picnic. Overall consumption currently 10.3 mostly peak hour with ablat in between.

          From the day I bought it (about 24000 kms ago) my R32 has averaged around 9.6 lt/100 kms. Consumption has been slowly falling over the whole period. Driving is a mix of city and freeway, but the average would be suburban...so overall it's quite easy on fuel.
