We have a section of road near home which we travel on when we want to head up north to civilization (where we live is pretty ordinary for shopping variety) This road is quite dangerous in sections and has been the scene of a lot of serious accidents (head - ons), it has a lot of trees shading it from the sides and overhanging thus there a lot of shadows on the road. I always have the lights on when we travel along it even in bright sunny conditions, hopefully by doing so it will make for a safer journey, although there's always some impatient pri*k that overtakes and doesn't give a s#!t about anyone else. It's really not a bad road, the speed limit is 100kmh, the road is reasonably straight but it does have a lot of long corners with which visibility is quite restricted at times although it still has single broken overtaking lines along the majority of it, even in sections where you can't see a bloody thing that's coming the other way !!

For those who know the area on the South Coast NSW I'm referring to Gerroa Road between Seven Mile Beach and Shoalhaven Heads.
