I could use some advice - the new ECU is immobilised......I haven't pinged it yet with VAG com but I'm guessing the AGU was IMMO2 and the BVR is IMMO3. I've read that VAG tacho can sort this, anyone done this already who might be able to advise? So frickin near now......

Gavin h100vw would be the man to speak to about ECUs.

Cool, thanks for the info. Once I get my **** together I'll ping him a msg. Fingers crossed the IMMO versions are the same as I don't have the code for the 'new' ECU.....

No mate, slid the seat back as far as it would go. Made a cardboard template for the bracket and used the two bolts next to the brake pedal mount - no welding. I have some pics somewhere of the bracket before it was fitted. rolled the edges for stiffness, will see how it goes.......

Thanks mate, was a bit of a pain but I can see the benefits, just need to get the Immobiliser sorted. IMMO3 on cluster and ECU.....

Are you still running N75? I've got an MBC and Tial MVS setup, will plug in but wont plumb in.

Ha, there was one teensy bit of welding; on the pedal bracket to add the bolt mount section. But didn't weld the bracket to the car, which would have been a bit dodgy with all the plastics/carpet etc and no room.
