    2001 Golf 1.6L Generation Gear Shift Linkage

    Hi everyone,

    Have just bought a 2001 Golf 1.6L Generation and the gear shift linkage is super sloppy. Really hard getting 1st & some times 3rd.

    Narrowed it down to a bush assembly at the point where the gear shift arm joint the rotating assembly as per the photo below..

    VW want me to buy the whole new assembly for nearly $200.. does anyone sell a bush kit for these?
