I can try and do a log haha don't really know what I'm doing though. I know how to log on the program but do I just WOT from low revs in 3rd or something? If someone could fill me in on what to do that would be great.
I'm sure it was orientated properly so that wouldn't be the problem. I'm getting the wiring professionally done soon with a new plug as at the moment it's soldered quite poorly as they were cut when I bought the car. But when I was talking to an electrician I know, he said it would still work and shouldn't be a problem but it's just not strong kind of thing. This should be done within the next two weeks and I can rule out/find my problem.
Thanks everyone for the responses.
If the N75 wiring is dodgy, you could go to Output Tests in VCDS and click through until the N75 is clicking. Make sure it is. Once you have that clicking, play with the wires and make sure you can't stop it working.

Ah okay thanks heaps, ill borrow the cable again for the weekend and see how it goes
I changed my oil today... In the old oil i found little hard brown chunks that were curved like they were part of something. I could easily snap them in half with my fingers and they felt like brittle plastic. The car sounds and drives like its running fine though so idk what or where it came from or if that would have anything to do with my boosting problem

Not sure if that will work but yeah, got these out of the drain pan after i had finished draining the oil. I had cleaned it before hand so it couldn't have been from somewhere else. I also used oil flush so idk if this was just caked on **** that it got rid of.
A couple of obvious choices, bits of broken dipstick holder that have been in there a while. Or worse pieces of cam chain tensioner pads.
Have a look at the dipstick holder with a torch first.
Either way they shouldn't make it around the engine any further IMO

Well i just checked out the dipstick holder and it all looks intact with no damage so I don't think its that. Would i notice/hear anything if it was the cam chain tensioner pads?
Thanks heaps
Easiest to check the cam chain tensioner by whipping the cam cover off. Not that likely to hear anything depending on what's happened. Dipstick holder may have been replaced so would look ok.
Could be one of the orange plastic pieces on the dipstick, it think they are guides or something. These can come off too.
I'd like to think it would be safe enough as those pieces look too big to be picked up by the oil pump and would just stay in the sump, and if they are from the dipstick or the tube then they went directly to the sump and did not travel past all the expensive bits.

Yeah I checked the actual dipstick and that's all intact and fine. And also I checked out that new n75 I bought and turns out its actually broken and when open, it doesn't shut the third nipple thing so I'm trying to get a refund/return. I've got the vag-com cable now and the wiring and plug to the n75 have been fitted professionaly so I'll do a maf log and post it up here. I'll take the valve cover over and give that a look at within the next week or two as I'm pretty bust atm with hsc trials. Thanks everyone again
Well i decided to take bae's top off today.. hehe... and the chain tensioner pad looks intact and doesn't show much sign of wear or any damage. I have changed the oil since I've had the car once before, back in January, and didn't notice anything then. Does anyone else know of anywhere else those little fragments could have come from?
Thanks
