Although that is a good price, the most vital part of the TBE system is the down pipe, allowing the turbo to spool freely for the extra power, the cat back is literally just noise. We only ordered the last day or 2 so wont be getting anything until mid december, but for a full TBE landed for under $1000 is almost unheard of, I would seriously recommend getting on board, you save $200 on your quote and get a full TBE landed. Sale ends today....

I understand that the down pipe is what is going to boost my performance as the stock one is ridiculously small (2 inch I think) but at this point in time the car is running a stock tune (soon to be stage 1 once my Forge pipes arrive) so I see no point in getting it now. Certainly later down the track I'll be looking at a stage 2 tune so I'll consider a DP along with intake, K03s, FMIC etc.

I'm fairly set on a Milltek non-resonated exhaust. I really like the R32 style one (dual single tips on L/R) but I don't have an R32 bumper, anyone know if I can just chop up my current valence while I hunt down an R32 front and rear bumper?

You will get some gains with a new DP even with stage 1 tune.
I did 2.5 DP + cat + 2.5 inch to final suitcase = 5-9kw ATW.

Wow, it seems I missed quite a bit. Sorry for not checking the thread over the past few weeks, juggling end of semester exams/assessments and work proved to be quite a challenge.

At this stage I'm still undecided on which exhaust to get but I've managed to narrow it down to a few. It seems you guys ordered some 42DD stuff, have you got it yet and if so would you recommend it? I also found a place which is happy to order me a Milltek cat-back (quick quote over the phone was $1200 installed) so I'm considering getting that then finding a down piper later.

Again sorry for not checking back, now that I have some free time I'll most likely be messing with my car much more (there's a new diverter valve and an amplifier waiting in the garage, now I just have to get off my ass and install them).

Hey mate what was the place called that could get milltek system? I'm going with a 3" dpi and ft2.5" r32 style exhaust. But that's because i have a franken turbo lined up!

Diofix - Just thinking, do you really want to pay money for a stage 1 tune, then pay again for a stage 2 tune?

Just a thought, but I'd skip the stage 1 tune (unless it's a Custom Code from Gavin, who I think will discount sequel tunes)... As you're paying for a tune you'll only use for a short time, then paying for another... ?!?!

spoke to them last Tue and they were about a week and a half out on the batch, so by the end of this week or early next week they should be shipped. Once they are finished they will email the tracking information.
