    Milestone achieved at 200k km's

Their longevity isn't in question. The narrow angled six will go forever given it's taken well cared of.

Great work Corey. I have been thinking of spraying my brake calipers orange, but haven't got around to it just yet. Keep this thread updated with any progress of the respray. More photos!

On another note, with the help of my better half, we started pulling down the brakes today to get ready for paint.

            Small update:

Brakes came back from paint on Sunday, Brakes Plus @ Capalaba spent yesterday morning rebuilding the calipers with new seals and cleaning up the pistons. Tyrol Sport caliper stiffening kit has been fitted and the calipers are now back on the car.

            Fronts installed

            Rears

Front braided lines are also fitted, just waiting on JMAC to sort the fluids out which should be done Wednesday

The bronze painted calipers pop. Going to look great against the DBP paintwork and BBS CH's. Did the idea come from the gold/bronze carbon ceramic discs on the AMG's?

              Just a touch of class.

Came from the new R35 GTR actually, they run virtually the same colour and I saw it under the blue and pondered the thought. Bit the bullet and did it, quite chuffed with how it turned out.

System has been bled, so getting the kms on the pads & rotors now to bed them in one of the retaining clips popped out this morning, got to it before it completely fell off though.

Anything new? I'm still quite eager to see a side shot of the brakes
Certainly does look fantastic in the R35 GTR brake caliper colour Corey. Any feedback/review on the Racing Brake 2 Piece rotors?

I like the OEM+ look about this car

                    ^^ Thanks Robbie!

I only have these 2 crappy phone pics which have been molested by instagram. They don't do the colours justice but I guess it gives you the idea of how it looks :S

I also fitted up some bling bits from Jcaps, still yet to fit the powersteering fluid cap.

The rotors & pads are pretty much bedded in now but I haven't had the chance to put them through their paces. Pedal feel is definitely smoother and more consistant with applied pressures. The Hawk Ceramics take a little to warm up but once they are, they bite well.

Got a little spoilt over the weekend for my birthday.. My girlfriend bought me a set of Thule racks & bike mount.

how was fitting braided lines? was it easy? did anything need to be rethreaded, or did you find a kit that went straight in?
                          the new calipers look awesome!

                            Thanks mate,

I bought the lines from USP Motorsport from the U.S. the lines are a straight fit and there were no threading issues. The threaded lengths are longer than the OEM lines, so it is a little deceiving at first as you'll think they're not all the way in.

Great build thread! Did you cut out the front grill bits by hand or did you purchase a pre cut set?
