I bought the lines from USP Motorsport from the U.S. the lines are a straight fit and there were no threading issues. The threaded lengths are longer than the OEM lines, so it is a little deceiving at first as you'll think they're not all the way in.
ah ok cool. sounds good! ill keep these in mind when i get around to my brake upgrade, thanks for the info.
whats the neuspeed intake like? it looks to be a pretty good design with a nice reasonable price. you seen gains from it? im thinking about picking one up as my next bit.

I like the intake, it's well made and the mounting points are spot on. It seats nicely and clears the battery quite well. If you do purchase one I'd opt to get it ceramic coated locally before install. Due to being aluminium? it does cop it's fair share of heat soak. Having said that, once on the move it wouldn't be all bad, more stuck in traffic etc. I don't have a scan tool to live log air temps to see the difference.

Performance in the midrange was noticable even against the evoms intake the car previously had.

      Oh and it sounds tops

its settled then! ill be picking one up when i finally get my car back from the mechanics... 3 weeks is getting painful haha

im happy to hear about the mounting points. i had an injen intake similar to this on my corolla before, and the mounting points were slightly off and vibrated a fair bit. so thats good news for me! im not too worried about traffic heatsoak, it shouldnt be too much worse than the stock plastic air box. and with flowing cold air itll cool down pretty quickly.

How would you compare it to the APR carbonio you had in your previous MK4 R32?

It must be an injen thing... My girlfriends Mazda SP23 isn't much better LOL!

I personally prefer the Carbonio, I just like the product but I can't justify the additional $$$ for it. I had done a dyno before and after dyno of the addition of carbonio and apr catback which yielded solid midrange gains, it is also a lot more resiliant against heatsoak. I'd have to say that the the Neuspeed install is nicer though and I'd say that the gains would be comparable to the Carbonio.

Probably more personal preference at the end of the day

it must be lol. when i was digging around to find a solution for my injen install some people were saying it was because of differences for right and left hand drive, but if injen have the same problems across different makes of cars i reckon thats BS haha

ive got my eye on the neuspeed intake because the bends in it arent as harsh so theres more potential for flow, and i dont like that APR Carbonio is held in by a strap rather than nuts and bolts. the price helps too!

What caused the rear brake pad to fly out the back of the car? At least in this instance, no one was hurt because of this.

Wish you happy motoring this summer

The Caliper carrier bolts came off the car, no idea how as I torqued them up myself! When we hit the bump in the road, I suspect that it caused the caliper to jump out of position and the inside pad then flew out the back. The outside pad twisted and locked the caliper between the wheel and rotor causing the caliper to drag its 455 on the inside of the rim until we pulled over..

                  Obvious problem is obvious.

Here's a few pre-failz pics from my girlfriend

yep, love the blue one with the BBS! It's my favourite OEM+ combo! If that #69 silver one with a blown engine was blue....... I'd be going into debt to buy it and rebuild it..
