What intake is that your running? Does this car have a tune?. I know you've probably told me before. But hey refresh the old brain matter.
Good mate, house is taking priority so the R32 seems a little neglected these days.

Running a Neuspeed Race CAI and it runs a GIAC chip.

All looking good, plans are in at council. Slab should be down early/mid Feburary and we should be moving in late July if all goes to plan

Sounds good man. Tricky things councils but. Mind they don't get you jumping through hoops and going round in circles.

Started collecting stuff for your man cave ?

Yeah, Councils can be painful but most of the process was done via private certifiers so that should speed things up..

Haven't thought about a man cave yet, we'll have a bit to do to complete the exterior of the house before I can fill a room with rad sh17 :p

On another note, nothing like a bit of fog to start the day..

Old girl is okay, the dreaded vaccum leak is back.. I think it's time I actually pony up and by a new OEM hose, with the amount of heat at the back, the boost hoses keep dying.

I think there is something amiss with my suspension too, the car feels real doey and out of balance from time to time.

Yep get yourself a new OEM hose and stick it on. Should hopefully do the job.

Doey and out of balance !.That will be the dodgy CH's mate, best you take em off. hehehe.

So a lack of coolant in the car this morning resulted in a quick top up which saw everything leaking on the floor

After looking closer we located the leak to be coming from the coolant sensor.

Pulled battery out and disconnected several coolant hoses to get to the sensor.

Turns out the o ring for the sensor had completely perished. Old v new below

Big thanks to good friend Erin for the help and to Adam from VA Garage yet again for ducking to his workshop to hook me up with some parts.

What caused it to perish Corey? I'd be guessing it's normal wear and tear.

Just age and heat Id assume.. The sensor is in a tight spot so I highly doubt it gets checked regularly. Just worth while keeping an eye on or replacing if you do a full fluid flush
