I went with six as it left a slot at a distance apart the pad was only just toching both..
I'm getting 8, the same as the ECS tuning OEM slotted rotors. They're being done as we seak. Opposite direction to you though (and to what I posted above)

Nice one! I'll be keen to hear your reports on them and how dusty you find them. I've been delaying doing anything about my break pads until I decide if I'm doing something about the breaks first.Originally posted by WhubbsieThere is nothing better than a polo badge, thats why you will notice Veyron drivers with polo gti badges.... they know where the true sizzles at!

Regarding the slotted talk;
DBA design the discs so that there's basically a segment all the way around the disc with a slot - the slot just allows the hot fumes from brake pads to escape, thus allowing better braking (as otherwise this gas acts as a buffer/cushion between pad and disc, until is pushed out of way - is meant to make up for about 0.# of a second of lag.) I'd be copying their design

Got a basic eight slot design as I showed above but with the slots in the opposite direction to what I put above.
Oh and slightly off topic to your comment, DBA don't even make a rotor for the R.
Glenn pics of the toys will be coming real soon.sigpic

1 x Stubby Antenna. Nice and shiny but yawn...
1 x Nice aluminium hose. Whatever could it be for...
1 x BMC CDA. Ooh shiny...
And lastly, oh look, Koni adjustable sports suspension (front and rear) and H&R springs...
The BMC CDA and suspension setup are both slightly used but both are in good condition and the tops for the fronts are pretty much brand new. Big thanks to Guy for putting me onto his co-driver.
Neil you suck for getting the Thomas Tuning rear strut brace before I did.
Al I found out who you sold your stock suspension and swaybars to.
Cheers,
